Skills we are likely to cover will include:
Pumping for speed – how and where to pump so you can gain ‘free speed’ whilst maintaining a balanced and strong body position
Line choice – choosing smooth and fast lines on the trail and learning the optimum speed to make trail features flow
Control on steep descents – staying in balance and maximising traction at very slow speeds
Wheel lifts – where, when and how to use them to your advantage on the trail
Steps and safe drop-off techniques – total control in the trickiest of situations, at both high and low speed
Focus and flow – analysis of a full trail including how and when to use core skills and speed techniques to make the trail flow
Level 2: Slow Speed Skills
Learning balance and movement on your bike key to getting out of sticky situations on the trail. Even the most experienced rider can benefit from these drills.

Level 2: Rocks, Roots & Drops
Build your technical skills with this rad clinic to get you over rocks and through rock gardens smoothly and safely.
Some rocky switchbacks and a few drops will get your confidence and bike handling skills up to take on more technical trail obstacles.
The first half of the session we will go over some basic fundamentals and make sure that you have the correct form to take on some more technical sections. We will then head off to the trails and put what we have learnt into practice.

Level 2: Corners / Switchbacks / Berms
The ever-feared Switchback. This can be a challenging skill to perfect. Being able to corner confidently is the key to having more fun and going faster on your mountain bike.
There is no better feeling than flowing through single track with speed and smoothness. Hitting those berms with confidence and speed. Flying out the other side.
This is an INTERMEDIATE level 2 clinic that will help you find your flow.
Learn how to breeze through corners and adapt to the ever changing trail terrain.

A fair amount of fitness and confidence on the bike will be needed for this skills clinic.

We will start off with some ground work to get those skills dialled in. Working on the following:
Recap of fundamentals - have to make sure you have the correct form
Loading techniques
Timing and co-ordination
Speed
Bike handling skills
Level 2: Climbing & Descending
Balanced body position is a key skill for maintaining control on a mountain bike! However, in order to maintain balance on a bike while riding over terrain that is changing, we have to MOVE! Having a good body position while riding down hills is all about finding stability.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
You are confident on your bike but want to hone in on those steep descents or you have already completed our FUNDMENTAL clinic.
